he had a beard,he was a wealthy landowner.he lived for pleasure.
the narrator thinks that he was an all around cool guy,he would do anything someone asked of him and wasnt very poor,he would always lend money.
i think that he is very optomistic,and cheerful,he is wealthy,and nice.
